How we work
At Okiatech we record singers, rappers, bands, podcasters and narrators. We capture what you mean to be heard, keep that intention through mix and master, and deliver files you can archive yourself.
Every request starts with a short intake: what you want to make, which references you have and how much time you have. Then comes a plan and a written quote. More detail is on about us and in the guides.

Three rooms to play, sing and decide
In a canal-house in Oud-West, the live room is 38 m², the vocal booth 10 m² and the control room 22 m². There is sight between control room and live room and separate headphone mixes per musician.
Monday to Friday 09:00–21:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00, by appointment only. Tram 3 or 12 to Eerste Constantijn Huygensstraat, then about four minutes on foot. Tram 1 or 7 to Leidseplein, then roughly eight minutes via Overtoom. Bike rack in front of the building. Read more about the team and rooms on about us.

How do I book a session?
Use contact, call 020 737 0891 or email [email protected]. Within 2 working days we send a slot and quote. After acceptance and a 35% deposit the date is set.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes. All amounts on the site include 21% VAT. A vocal studio hour costs €89, for example. Services also shows excl. VAT.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
How long do you keep my recordings?
9 months after the last session. After that we delete project files. Keep your own backups.
From what age can I record?
From 16, with written consent from a parent or guardian who books and pays. If unsure, contact us beforehand.
